2. What this notice covers
This notice covers the website at piviq.io and any contact you have with us. Where you use Piviq OS as a customer, your company is the controller of the data processed in the system and we act as its processor; that relationship is governed by the separate data processing agreement, not by this notice.
3. This website
This website presents Piviq OS. It loads no advertising networks and no third-party analytics services. Measurement is carried out by us, on our own server, in the United Kingdom and the European Union.
What we measure, and only with your consent. When you allow usage measurement, we record for each page view: the page you opened, the address of the page you came from (the referring link), your browser language, a rough device class (desktop, tablet, mobile) and, for advertising campaigns, the campaign parameters in the link. We also record how long you stayed, in whole seconds.
What we do not measure. We do not store your IP address in readable form. We keep a daily changing pseudonym instead, so a returning visitor can be counted twice on two days but cannot be followed over time. We set no advertising cookies, build no profiles and pass nothing to advertising networks. Recognising that a visitor is the same within one day serves only to count visitors once.

If you decline, or do not decide, nothing is recorded. Necessary storage only remembers your choice. Declining has no disadvantage for you.
Independently of your choice, our hosting provider processes technically necessary connection data (IP address, time, page retrieved, volume of data transferred, browser identifier) in server logs. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and stable operation). These logs are deleted after 30 days at the latest.
4. Demo request and enquiries
When you submit the demo form we process the details you provide: name, company, e-mail address, optionally telephone number, number of properties, segment, preferred package, preferred language and your message.

You are not obliged to provide these details. Without the required fields, however, we cannot process your enquiry. No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place.
5. Piviq OS for businesses
Where you use Piviq OS, your company (the operator) is the controller of the data processed in the system; Plan B Global Ltd acts as processor. The details are governed by the separate data processing agreement, which also lists the subprocessors. Operators are responsible for the lawfulness of the data they process in the system, in particular guest, resident, applicant and employee data.
6. Hosting and locations
This website and Piviq OS run on servers of a hosting provider in Frankfurt am Main, Germany (European Union). A data processing agreement is in place with the provider.
The controller is established in the United Kingdom. On 19 December 2025 the European Commission renewed the UK adequacy decisions; they run until 27 December 2031. Transfers of personal data from the European Union to the United Kingdom are therefore permitted under Article 45 of the General Data Protection Regulation. Data you submit through the form is stored on the servers in Germany.
7. Your rights
You have the right of access (Article 15), to rectification (Article 16), to erasure (Article 17), to restriction of processing (Article 18), to data portability (Article 20) and to object to processing (Article 21). You also have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing (Article 22). Please contact the address in section 1.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In the United Kingdom this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). If you are in the European Economic Area, you may also contact the supervisory authority of your place of residence.
There is no statutory obligation to provide your data, and no statutory requirement that applies to you as a consequence of not providing it.
8. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss and alteration. These include encrypted transport, access control based on verified identity, separation of customer environments and regular backups. No method of transmission over the internet is entirely secure; we therefore cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to this notice
We update this privacy notice when processing or the legal situation changes. The version published on this page applies. Material changes are dated at the top of the page.
